ok, so i dont really have any good stories this time, im jsut bored and do not want to clean my room....

WAIT!

ok, i do have a story.

i got my mission call....

and im not going to lie

im actually really upset about it.

i was originally going to the Belgium Brussels/Netherlands Mission Dutch Speaking (which, a few weeks ago, was reorganized and it now is just the Belgium Netherlands Mission, and no longer has any of france in it, and no french speaking missionaries)
and i have been told that i would still be going there. but, i guess there may be some trouble getting me a Visa there. so...

i am no going to the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo West mission, Spanish Speaking. leaving June 2nd.

i...i dunno what to feel. i mean, YAY, im finally going. but BOO, i dont wanna go there. i didnt want to go somewhere tropical and/or hot, and i absolutly did NOT want to speak spanish. and now i am going to a hot tropical place speaking spanish...

i mean, i know where ever i go i will think was the best mission ever, but in the back of my head ill still think, man, how awesome would it have been if i had gone where i was originally supposed to go?!

ill go where i am called to go, but i think its going to take awhile for me to accept it, and not just get depressed when i think about it...

but, my stake president is a bit on my side, he also feels strongly that i should be going to the netherlands, and is actually doing a bunch of stuff to try and get me a visa there. so there is indeed hope still! haha. i will keep you posted about that. so until June 1st, i will NOT be getting me an HLJ ring, and will stick with my KGW (kies de goede weg(choose the proper way, or choose the right path)) ring and hope :)

on a different note entirely, i have eaten 4 Cadbury Creme Eggs today.

man alive those little things are WAY too tasty. they very well might be the death of me one day...

i want to like...incubate one and see if i hatch a little cadbury creme chicken that will pop out a few eggs everyday. that would be wonderful!

...what would i feed it?!

hey kids!

its been 2 months since i last blog'd! im soo sorry!

i always get crabby when people dont update theirs, and then i never do...

anywho, here i am!

i know, im excited to!

i am having some knarly allergies today, so i just took a bunch of benadryl, so if i start to make even less sense than usual, its because im falling asleep :)

ok, so here is the deal. tonight at Beta...hold that thought

here is some backround, i dont think that i have told anyone yet? or rather, told the blogging world.

so i rushed for ΣΓX (Sigma Gamma Chi) the fraturnity at the U that is sponsored by the LDS Institute and the Church. i joined the ß (Beta) chapter and i am LOVIN in. i always promised myself that i would never join one, because the majority of my friends joined them and i never saw them again...they would only hang out with those people. but, alas, most my friends are now on missions and i needed new ones! so, i joined and it is great! i have met alot of AMAZING people and i am having a great time.

so anyways, tonight after our brotherhood meeting, we pretty much just talked about the ladies all night! it was awesome. Croft made this little quiz about dating that was super goofy and sparked some hillarious conversations. but it also brought up some excellent real points. alot of what we talked about was kissing! haha so first off, i found that there are a bunch of other guys in beta who were "VL" or "sweet after mission"! so i wont be the only one! haha.

so, do i want to be sweet after mish?! not at all. but, its probably going to happen sadly! but thats ok, i can handle it haha. i have just never kissed anyone because lets face it, im a pansy! im just so scared that the girl will NOT be so stoked about it or will shut me down.... and we talked about when and where its appropriate, and just other random dating rules. deep stuff kids. deep stuff.

but, whenever someone gives me crap about being 20 and never kissing someone (which, surprisingly, isnt that often...most people actually give me props haha) but i point them out to this lil poem, that is AMAZING. its a great point and think everyone should take it into account :)

first, matthew mayfield. he is freakin amazing. skip the first like 30 sec or so and you can listen to one of his best songs, "Better"




now, one of my all time favorites and a Pandora find, Peter Bradley Adams. This song, "Los Angeles" is what got me hooked! his incredibly smooth and airy vocals, and there is just so much emotion in all of his songs!

hey kids.

whats going on?!

ok, so ive slacked on blogging lately my friends. for reals.

ive been trying to catch up writing all my boys on missions.

i have been partially successful. still have a few to go!

i finally had written shippy. for the first time.

i know i know, im a horrible friend :(

but i did get a glorious letter back! man oh man i miss that kid! so much! im not going to see him for like another 3 years probably....madness!

so i dunno if i have updated yall, but I am getting all my stuff together to get my call reinstated! as in, i should get a new date to leave on my mish! woohoo!

so, my life is so utterly boring. ya.

and im not all that sad about it.

ok, so thats a lie. im pretty darn bummed, but im still a super happy kid i guess haha. its just buggin me that a monday is the same as a friday. i work, come home, and thats about it. i never hang out with anyone, because lets face it, most my friends are on missions. so, i dunno what to do hahaha. the people i want to hang out with never show much interest in hangin out with me (or anyone else really, for that matter, so nothing personal :) ) and so me and the spill canvas have gotten to know each other even better haha.

speakin of which, i have a demand. you MUST go buy their new EP, called "Abnormalities". its just like 3 bucks. 3 songs. GLORIOUS. oh man. so stoked! i have been waiting for new spill for sooo long!

THE SPILL CANVAS REALESED ONE OF THEIR NEW SONGS from their upcoming album called "abnormalities"

the song is called "Gateway Drug" and its so amazing.

at very very first, i wasnt a fan. it was different from all their other stuff and had a weird vibe to it. but now...now i just cant stop listening to it! it deffinatly has the spill canvas groove and i LOVE it! check it out on their myspace, www.myspace.com/tsc called gateway drug

also, the recorded an acoustic version of another of their new songs called "Parallels and Money"

so good. a little rough, but hey, it was recorded in their kitchen haha.

so, i cant possibly express my love for the snow in words.

i just love it so deeply and passionately! haha and i love to drive in it! the OIIIO likes to drive in it too!

so i am currently listening to the christmas playlist selja put on her blog, and so far i have listened to 2 songs in finnish, and man, what a crazy language haha, but the songs have but super legit. so check that out

also, i dunno if i said this in my last post or not, but i should be able to put in my mission papers again soon! like, january! im stoked!! i dunno how it works though, like, if i will have to compleatly re do them, just redo parts, or if i just send em in as is... ill keep you posted.

as i wrote that, i realized, all the things i said id keep ya posted on, i didnt. so, my room is not clean. at all. and im sad no one called in for rescue crews, it would have been nice! haha

so, here i am! i dunno who reads this, and i gotta say, i just hope that a few totally random people that i dont know read it. cut that would just be super legit.

so, 26 days till christmas! almost 25 cuz im writing this at 11:27 on sunday. so. ya.

also, i now cant listen to christmas music! pretty much all i will listen to now is Taylor Swift and Peter Breinholts christmas albums, because they are just wonderful!

oh, and to you faithful readers, as to the progress of said previous dilema

anywho, good news. i watched elf today. for like....the 3rd time since thanksgiving. man alive i could watch that show all day!!

my room, is an absolute disaster.

and im not talking like, cant see the floors.

im talkin about, im loosing desks, some walls, a family of ducks, and im quite sure there is a small yeti hiding amidst the madness. ill keep you posted, if i find a new species ill be sure to post pictures!

planning on trying to start cleaning tomorrow.

that, my friends, is scary.

if i dont contact y'all in a few days, send rescue crews.

and some in-n-out burger, that would be a wonderful last meal :)

so good news. im 99% sure i can re-submit my mission papers in january, and plan to head out april-ish! man alive, you kids have no idea how stoked i am. for real. ill keep ya updated on that as well!

well kids, this has been lame, so im going to go to bed so i dont bore you to sleep....

just wanted to let you all know that i am, indeed, still alive and kickin, and DESPRATLY needing more people to hang out with when i get off of work. seriously guys, who needs to do homework and to to school? lame. come play with me, that would be a much better alternative me thinks.
