Let The Future Pass, and Don't Let Go

K guys

I have some bad news.

So, as I wrote long long ago, I have wanted to write a song for a very long time

So, I busted out my guitar today and started to play around a little. So far that part is actually going better than I had expected. Im not good at guitar, I can play a few chords, but that’s about it. So, to make it a little more interesting I am veering away from standard tuning and changing it with an alternate tuning, dadf#ad. An open d tuning. So, its all cool, ‘cept in that tuning I only know 2 chords, but no worries. Im not too good at strumming and such so im gonna be picking(I think) and that im semi good at and gives me more options….so I kinda have the beginning of what I think wont suck too bad.

But heres the deal

I have never had a hard time writing lyrical things, like poems. Ever. I have always just been able to spew out a pretty good piece of poetry at random, without any sort of reason or inspiration.

But of course, when I finally have even just a little bit on the guitar, I cant thing of even a single word.

I don’t know why this is happening, but its upsetting me

So, my plan is to just finish up the guitar part, and then record it. So that way I have the entire musical part done. Then maybe by then I will be able to come up with some hopefully mediocre lyrics? I dunno. Ill keep y’all updated though.

I have heard it gets easier to write songs the more you do it, but I think my biggest problem is I have very little instrumental talent, so its hard to make something with the 5 chords I know.

Anyways, as I said ill keep ya updated, maybe put a little clip of the begginging on here or something. All I can say is if I do that I would really appreciate some feedback (I know, I HATE when people complain that no one ever comments on their blog and such, but If I do something where I honestly would like some feedback, please give me some J haha )

Anywho, I don’t really have much else to say

Im crabby because my internet has not worked for 3 days, im currently typing this in word so I can paste it to my blog whenever it decides to work again….

as we all know, there is a HUGE difference in the these words:

hot

beautiful

cute

pretty

attractive

HUGE

if you are a guy, you know

if you are a girl, you might *kinda* get it

but prolly not

so, let me explain

i am physically attracted to cute girls

why?

i dunno

but ok

here are the best definitions i can muster

pretty-

ok, this is one girls use alot to describe other girls.

guys know that this is not a good thing

if a girl says her friend is really pretty, a guy will immediatly think

"oh ok so she isnt hot but i wont be scared to look at her"

pretty usually means they are much less than spectacular.

but, only if a girl says it

if a guy says it, its still on the lesser scale, but not nearly as much

we men trust the judgement of our fellow men

ok, i have no idea how i am going to explain this one

ill explain the others first, that will help

hot-

ok, hot is where they are just smokin!

as in, they INSTANTLY grab your attention at how good lookin they are

often times, hot is very barbie-ish and fake

hot is extreamly superficial

if i guy calls you hot, its for sure a complement but with a hint of "you look toooooooo good"

mostly

again, these are hard to explain. ask me questions to clarify if you have them

beautiful-

one of my faves

so to me, a beautiful person is attractive from the get go, but more so with time

and they dont look fake or barbie-ish, they are just all around extreamly good looking.

not saying you cant be beautiful from the start

its just....i dunno

if a guy calls you beautiful, you should take it as a serious compliment, because that is some awesome praise! good good good good.

honestly the highest you can get.

beautiful also encompasses the personality of the person to a degree, but doesnt have to.

cute-

in a way like you would say a kitty or puppy is cute.

man, i really have no idea how to describe this.

lemme give some examples

hot -- megan fox, hayden panettierre (ya i cant spell her name...), emma watson, demi lovato

pretty -- miley cyrus

beautiful -- bekah davis, julia dahdah, this one is more *personal* to the beholder...haha

cute -- selena gomez

attractive-

forgot to explain this one.

it is kinda all of them

not so much hot though. i would NEVER call taylor swift hot, but oh my goodness she is soooo attractive!

but still, all the above people are attractive. again, this one is a little more dependent on the beholder, but to me if i call you attractive that is pretty much the highest praise you could get from me, even though i made it look easy to be attractive, i dont use it lightly.

girls, just think like us men and you will understand all of this....

but back to my original thoughs, selena gomez.

i always have been waaaay more attracted to the "cute" look than anything.

like, if you look at selena gomez she is so freakin cute. and sooooo attractive.

taylor swift, while so attractive and quite beautiful, is not so much cute.

and selena gomez has always been close second to taylor swift (sorry cassadee pope(who is hot))

but now, selena has taken up 1st place.

so first off

the camping.

so, me jocelyn, jeff, nick, suzanne, kevin, john, alyssa, and gail all headed off to the sand dunes!!

so epic

lots of fun!

haha i got like 20 min notice, and we put all the stuff from kevins truck into the space van and went off! got there and set up camp and headed out to the sandy wilderness and had a party flippin and jumpin off the dunes!

went back to camp, ate, made a bonfire with like 40 ft flames....

then played sardines till we gave that up because it was redicuosly hard....

then went and played red rover

which ended ended up eith only 2 black eyes and 6 stiches!

so no worries!

had the apocalypse at the sand dunes at night with howling winds and rain!

thank goodness for the bed in the space van!


ok, so now the point of this post

i just have to say that i am a happy little boy

ok, well, im not really that little...

but you get the point?

and yes, i am aware that i start pretty much every single blog post like this, so i am sorry about that... haha

so anywho, i really wanna write just some epic blog post today, to maybe kinda make up for my horrible habbit of...well, of not blogging! haha

so i am at the library, because my computer is in my living room and wireless internet is just uber slow and i cant handle it. and i need a new book on tape to listen to while i work, i am almost done with all the harry potters now haha.

so the keyboard here is knarly....its huge, and stands like 3 inches above the table so my wrists already hurt, making me a sad panda....

so i have a story for you all. one you may not belive! i mean, i, after all, barely belive it!!

my room is CLEAN!

yep, you read that right folks. clean. well, except jasmines cage, but hey, one thing at a time...

so i got a new job. i now have like 3 jobs....haha it makes me feel special cuz i just read jocelyns blog about how she needs a job way bad and she gets an interview and realizes she really does not want that job...haha. but i now work at Craig's, i work for my moms handyman guy up at her shoping center, like painting and cleaning and such. and then i work for my mom where at that same shoping center where i have to wake up at an unholy hour of the morning to empty the trash and make sure theres none in the parking lot and such....yup. great fun, just like it sounds...hahaha but i get paid well for em all! so soon i will have some money! yay!

so kristin, after how hot today was, when are you opening your pool? haha

ok, so another story. yes, it might be lame. decide for yourself...

anywho, so last week good'ole anthony went outta town, to st george, and it sucked might i say....seriously, like the week i needed friends and stuff more than anything, anthony leaves and the rest of my friends chose that week to be the one week where they cant hang out (or cant hang out with non-college folk) even more so than usual. this was a bummer. so i spent all week being a little mopey because no one wanted to play....

until that saturday. i finally get ahold of some people and they are playing at jocelyns house in the sunshine and it was glorious. but alas, they all left to go to some dance at the U. except jocelyn, but she was haning out with some of her girls so no luck there...so again, no friends....haha

speaking of jocelyn not playing, so hear this. apparently long ago when me anthony kristin and joce went to sushi happy hour, before that joce and kristin were watching gray's at her place, but i was not invited, which i dont mind they were just finishing it up when i found out and then we were going to get some sushi. so we go get the food. which was amazing. and then joce drives us out by skyline to get a slurpee at a 7 11 because they had what jocelyn thought was the most incredible slurpee ever. and yes, it was good, but i wouldent drive out there to get it....

anyways, im going of track. so she takes me back home first and i supposed they were just going back home as it was a little late. so the next day i find out RIGHT when i got outta the car joce asks anthony if he wants to go to her house and watch more greys with her and kristin (which kristin apperently VETOED and so he went home as well. but they didnt ask me...

so i have to ask...do i smell or something? hahaha cuz just tell me...i can take it like a man...haha

but, maybe it has to do something with how joce has been with anthony the last lil bit....hahahahahaha

ok, so anthony has been talkin about how uber extra friendly she has been towards him latley. just talking to him a ton, texing him at random, and like just wanting to talk and talk and talk....which is something joce NEVER does. to either of us. so it was just weird. and he just talks about all the outta the ordianry things she was doing...hahaha

so, i need to change up this post.....for no reason i have talked alot about joce....hahaha

Adam Lambers BLEW me away. the first time anyone on that show, ever, gave me real and true goosebumps it was so good. he is absolulty FLAWLESS! and if you are one of the dumb people who dont like him, then first of, get a new head, because yours is broken, and second, you cannot deny that he is absolutly perfect when he sings. look at the preformance. he didnt even kinda miss anything. it was PERFECT! haha i would almost become gay for him.

it was, i must say, quite incredible!! oh my, i used to really kinda dislike him....but he actually proved, with this and hairspray, that he actually can act!

and oh my it was hillarious. so many just super awkward moments and funny funny situations and lines and...oh my. so so good. the biggest bummer about it? i had jan from the office in it.

and i dont really like her all that much.

mostly because i see her, and thing of jan from the office....

does anyone like jan? because man, she is crazy....
